WEC Group's Eleventh Annual Charity Golf Day 2025
WEC Group held its eleventh Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday 11th July at Accrington Golf Club. The event was once again open to customers, suppliers, staff, and commercial associates of WEC Group, and this year we were lucky enough to enjoy glorious sunshine throughout the day.
We were thrilled to welcome a fantastic turnout of players, with both staff and clients getting involved in the friendly competition on the course. Spirits were high and the weather made for a brilliant day of golf, fun, and fundraising.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, we’re proud to announce that we raised a record-breaking £11,359 for our chosen charity, Prostate Cancer UK. The funds were raised through registration fees, sponsorships, a charity auction, bingo, raffle and prize draws, as well as generous donations throughout the day.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated or sponsored the event, and to the suppliers who kindly contributed prizes. Your support helps make a real difference.
